The highlight was 12 successful live transmissions featuring complex coronary and peripheral angioplasty from different hospitals including Columbia University (New York), Royal Brompton Hospital (London), Opatelle Grosseto (Italy), Zulekha Hospital (Dubai), PRS Hospital (Trivandrum), AIMS (Cochin), Jaslok Hospital (Mumbai), Apollo Hospitals (New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad), and Nizam Institute (Hyderabad).
- This teaching course was applauded by Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dixit, Health Minister Dr. Yoganand Shastri of Delhi, Member of Parliament Dr. AM Singhvi, Dutch Ambassador, and French Embassy Counsellor of Science and Technology.

- Twelve international faculty participated in the scientific program with about 500 registered delegates from India and various countries of Asia and Africa. The next meeting is scheduled for November 2008.
