Met Dr. Nayak in 2016 to discuss a complication related to my mother-in-law! He has been fantastic to communicate the real case scenario to the patients, which explains his Many decades of experience in treating Cancer patients. The best doctor ever. I had a tumor n I kept it for 5 years as from d day I got it I did not find one doctor who was confident to take it out with out damaging my 7th nerve. I went to 19 doctors in d leading hospitals of d city. It took me just one visit to Dr Umanath to set d date of surgery. I’m scared of hospitals , needles n doctors so it’s a nightmare to hve me as a patient but he was so calm n confident in handling me that I was at ease completely. I recently underwent thyroidectomy under the supervision of Dr. Umanath Nayak and his team. I had an enlared nodule for over 20 years and I was very scared to get it removed. When the nodule size increased to a size, I had no option other that getting it operated. Thats when, I started looking out for seasoned head and neck surgeons. I consulted almost 4 surgeons and seeked their advice. What I liked about Dr. Nayak is that he explained me very clearly how the medical procedure would go on and I kind of got convinced. Instead of removing the entire gland, only a part it was removed and the remaining was left to generate hormones for the rest of my life.
