RENAL TRANSPLANTATION ACHIEVEMENTS:

Have credit to my name many renal transplantations, I have specialized in kidney transplantation with special emphasis on ABO incompatible Renal transplant and multiorgan transplant. I have conducted the 1st Pediatric Pre-emptive ABO-incompatible for a 12 yrs old boy, which is one of its kind in Karnataka in October 2021.
Have done 5 ABO Incompatible Renal transplants in the last 1year.
Featured in Economic times front page as a young upcoming Transplant Nephrologist in Bangalore.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Participated in 20^th IAP Paediatrics quiz for undergraduates held in J.J.M.C Davangere, 2007 and secured 2^nd place.
Completed provider course in BLS/ACLS in November 2011, with latest guidelines.
Completed certified course from BMJ on Diabetes mellitus, November 2012.
Third place in Medical respiratory case presentation competition organized by KAPICON respiratory chapter, Karnataka state.
First place in ISNSCCON 2016 free paper presentation “SLEDD AS A THERAPY FOR ICCU DIALYSIS- A PROSPECTIVE STUDY”

During the treatment course of 12 months, there were a few emergencies where Dr. Akash Shah ensured his presence for longer durations, comforting the patient and keeping aside his other duties. In addition to regular treatment, he ensured that all required tests and scans were done without hassle to the patient. He would take the initiative to ensure we met the right radiologist and get the tests done on time. His proactive involvement has been a blessing for us.
