Dr M V Reddy

Dr. M V Reddy is a distinguished Cardiologist based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, with over 25 years of extensive experience in the field of cardiology. He has earned a reputation for his expertise in a variety of interventional procedures, having successfully performed over 10,000 diagnostic interventions, including more than 5,000 coronary angioplasties with stenting of coronary and peripheral vessels. Dr. Reddy has a particular interest in complex cases such as bifurcation lesion angioplasties and left main stenting, all conducted under advanced imaging guidance. His proficiency extends to coronary imaging techniques, including Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).

In addition to his interventional skills, Dr. Reddy has implanted over 125 permanent pacemakers, 40 Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators (ICDs), and performed 24 AICDs (both single and dual chamber), showcasing his commitment to cardiac rhythm management. He is also well-versed in the treatment of chronic venous disorders of the lower limbs, having conducted more than 500 thermal and laser ablation procedures. Recently, he has developed an interest in structural heart interventions such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and MitraClip procedures.

Dr. Reddy is an esteemed author, contributing to numerous textbook chapters and publishing research in the BJOM International journal. He has presented his findings at various national and international conferences, enhancing professional discourse in cardiology. His role as an examiner for DNB students reflects his commitment to education and mentorship within the medical community. Additionally, he has conducted various cardiology workshops featuring international faculty from Japan and the USA. His last position was as Associate Chief Health Director and Head of the Interventional Cardiology Department at Jagjivan Ram Western Railway Hospital. As a fellow of the Cardiology Society of India, Dr. Reddy continues to push the boundaries of cardiology, ensuring his patients receive the highest level of care.
