Arif Wahab graduated from A.M.U , Aligarh and  completed  his  post-doctoral qualification (DM) in Cardiology from the prestigious and high volume  HRMC Centre of Cardiology at  Sardar Patel Medical College ,Bikaner  . Dr Arif  worked at HRMC for sometime before joining Indraprastha Apollo Hospital New Delhi, presently he is working as fulltime consultant in Interventional Cardiology 
     Dr. Arif  specialises in Adult  Cardiac Catheterisation and Angiography; Percutaneous Coronary Intervention including PTCA / Intra-Coronary Stent / Thrombectomy; Non-Coronary Interventions including Balloon Valvuloplasty & Pericardial Interventions; Percutaneous Non-Coronary Interventions, Peripheral Angiography & Angioplasty, Carotid Angiography and Angioplasty, Balloon Valvuloplasty & PDA Closure; Percutaneous IVC Filter insertion for Pulmonary Embolism, Permanent pacemaker and AICD insertion. He has performed more than 8000 coronary artery procedures  ( coronary angiography and angioplasty) with more than 95% of the procedures being done through the transradial route .
     Dr. Arif  has considerable experience in academics  and Clinical Research. He was part of the landmark  MiD trial and has contributed extensively in peer reviewed journals .  He has more than 20  national and international publications in various journals to his credit and has also contributed many chapters in various cardiology textbooks.
